Yonge-Dundas Square is a unique focal point in downtown Toronto where communities come together. Since opening to the public in 2002, we have produced hundreds of our own special events for the community. Check out our programming from summer 2018 below:

Yonge-Dundas Square is the original trailblazer of outdoor cinema in Toronto, with our first screening in 2005.  Every Tuesday during the summer months, YDS attracts families and friends from all over the GTA to catch a flick in the heart of the city.

Chevrolet Indie Fridays is a free multi-genre concert series in the Heart of the City that takes place during the summer months. For 10 weeks, Yonge-Dundas Square hosts an array of performances from Canada’s brightest artists.

In 2018, two Canadian graffiti artists came together each week to showcase their unique creative style and individuality while drawing inspiration from the music of the week. The canvas for their art was a wrapped Chevrolet Cruze Sedan that provided a striking visual amidst the vibrant lights and sounds of the Square.

Make sure to visit us next year for Chevrolet Indie Fridays 2019!
