Christmas In The Square

Christmas In The Square

Fri, 25 November, 2016 1:00 pm-3:00pm

Christmas in the Square is a musical celebration that launches The Salvation Army Christmas Campaign in Toronto. Held in the heart of the city, Yonge-Dundas Square, The Salvation Army hosts a Christmas Concert and Community Carol Sing-a-long featuring the Salvation Army Youth Brass Band and Festive Singers. The evening is full of family fun and inspiration as we gather together and join our voices to bring the spirit of Christmas to our city.

This event features Toronto's largest bell standing over three stories tall! Free jingle balls, song sheets, hot-chocolate, coffee, and other treats while quantities last.

The event is free and open to the public. The iconic Salvation Army Christmas Kettles are set up throughout the square to receive charitable donations. All of the funds collected at this event are used to support the social service work of The Salvation Army in Toronto including homelessness programs, support groups for those struggling with addition and Christmas toys and meals for families experiencing financial challenges.
