Freedom Day

Join Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) for Freedom Day on September 28, 2016 at Yonge-Dundas Square!  Schools from across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond join FSWC each year in an energetic celebration of Canadian rights and freedoms designed to raise awareness about human rights issues and empower youth to take action to make the world a better place.  This year’s event includes performances and presentations by Emmanuel Jal, political activist, rapper & former child soldier; Dr. Toni Zhong, women’s health champion; Saman Alavi, diversity advocate; and Max Eisen, author & Holocaust Survivor.  ET Canada’s Rick Campanelli will emcee the event.

For information or to register, contact education@fswc.ca / 416-864-9735 ext. 22
