Wed, 30 August, 7:00 am-4:00pm

On Wednesday August 30, to promote the cross Canada theatrical release of the film BLOOD HONEY - a psychological thriller feature directed by Jeff Kopas and starring Shanae Grimes-Beech, Kenneth Mitchell, Gil Bellows, Don McKellar -  there will be an official Guinness World Record Event taking place. An attempt to beat the all-time world record of wearing a head full of bees.

Peter Dickie, from Dickie Bees, a 4th generation master beekeeper will bring 120,000 bees to Toronto’s Dundas Square (in a protective bubble!).

A volunteer from Dickie Bees will have his whole head covered in bees. The record to beat is 53 minutes and 34 seconds.

Before and after the Guinness World Record Event, for everyone’s enjoyment, there will be bee-bearding demonstrations. What a photo opportunity!

This will also be FACEBOOK LIVE.

The event is produced by Northern Banner Releasing who will be present along with film’s director Jeff Kopas, actor Morgan Kelly and of course the bees.
